Naughty Neighbor Monica

A friend and I went out to dinner tonight. Now, for a bit of background, I’ve had my eye on this guy for a while, but in a casual kind of way. We’ve gone out a few times as friends, but nothing has happened other than the odd hand brushing, et cetera.

Before we go out tonight, I make sure that I am looking hot! I was wearing my favorite little black dress which fits me like a glove, so I knew that I was looking good and if the way he looked at me was any indication, I was going to be lucky.

Yay me!

We go have drinks and dinner, then we go to a little place to have some more drinks. He was very insistent that we go to this specific place and it turns out that he is a karaoke freak. Let me repeat it – A KARAOKE FREAK. As he makes his way up to the dias, my hopes of getting laid are getting dashed. You see, I have a wicked dislike of karaoke. I don’t understand it, lol. But, I can at least appreciate the humor of someone getting up there and singing, if they don’t sound like a cat in heat getting its tail ran over with a weedwhacker.

If possible, this guy sounded even worse than the above example. To make matters worse, he decided to do a country song. Another thing I dislike is country music, lol. Not all of it, but 95% of it. That is when I knew that I’d be coming home alone and getting friendly with a toy. When he was finished regaling us all with his caterwauling, I told him that I’d had an emergency phone call and had to leave.

*sigh*

I did come home and have fun with my favorite toy, but it just wasn’t the same, lol. So now I’m wondering who out there wants to keep me company? We can have all sorts of fun over the phone, as long as it doesn’t involve karaoke!
